Plate CXLVII, Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union & Confederate Armies, published 1891-95. The atlas was significant as a record of the Civil War and as one of the first examples of mapping of specific areas in the United States. This one is a detailed section of southern Alabama, the Florida panhandle and bits of Georgia on the right and Mississippi on the left. It is a chromolithograph with image size: 27 1/2 x 16 1/2. There is a dark area on the very left upper corner.
